Assault Rifles are two-handed, deadly ranged weapons and are standard issues for soldiers of the national guard and Elite ops. If it is acquired by a prisoner, it is one of the most dangerous pieces of contraband in the game.
They are currently broken, where full automatic fire no longer works, rendering them almost useless.
They rapidly fire an automated round of deadly shots.

- Assault Rifles have an attack power of 4HP.
- Assault Rifles have a recharge time of 0.1 mins. This means that after firing, the gun must recharge for 0.1 in game minutes before firing again.
- Assault Rifles have a range of 20 tiles.
- Assault Rifles have a standard accuracy rate of 70%.
- Assault Rifles have an accuracy rate of 90% when wielded by a soldier.
- Assault Rifles have an ammo capacity of 30 rounds when wielded by a prisoner.
- Assault Rifles are forged with metal. They will set off a metal detector if in the hands of a prisoner, or if hidden among imports/exports.
- Assault Rifles are two-handed weapons.

- Assault Rifles are not standard issues for your armed guards but can be, through use of a mod.
- They can only be obtained from national guards, meaning that they can only come into the prison if there is an uncontained riot (which is apart of failure conditions).
