Doors are used to define sectors and to manage flow of NPCs such as prisoners within the prison. Since the sneezer update, doors are now located in the "doors" submenu under " Walls & Doors" on your toolbar tab.
Door settings[]
The player can set doors to various states which is accessed by left-clicking the door (object).
- Locked Open - Door stays open unless closed by a Lockdown.
- Normal - Standard state, doors are open or closed depending on which npc are permitted to open it.
- Locked Shut - Closed permanently for everyone. Must be configured by the player.
Tips and Tricks[]
- Doors opens at different speeds which should be taken into consideration when controlling flow of npcs through the prison.
- All doors can be controlled remotely using a door servo connected to a door control system, which is operated by a guard or some custom logic such as a Door Timer.
- Foundations require a door to be completed.
- If a door is open, anyone can pass though.
- Doors get stuck open if an item is blocking it, such as garbage.
