Light

If Light is placed outdoors it will look like the top one, if indoors, it will look like the bottom one. If Lights are purchased automatically or not is determined by the Auto Lights setting in the Foundation menu. Lighting is cosmetic only and has no effect on Prisoner or Staff.

Indoor lights require a powered Electrical Cable to be nearby. Outdoor lights do not require power, though they do not make much light either. Indoor lights will receive power if there is an electrical cable no more than fifteen squares away in the same room (or just outside a doorway).

The Island Bound DLC adds a green and red variant of light light. They can however only be placed outdoors.
