Parole Hearing

Parole Hearing is a reform program. It judges if your prison has managed to successfully reform a prisoner before time, leading to an early release and a monetary bonus for you.

A hearing to determine if a prisoner is eligible for early release. A successful release in which a prisoner doesn't reoffend will award a nice bonus.

Recommendations[]

Inmates can become very angry if their hearing doesn't go well, so it is adviced to keep around Guards, even Armed Guards, inside the Parole Rooms with ongoing hearings, to prevent angry prisoners to kill Parole Officers. Using Metal Detectors or Checkpoints on prisoners entering the room can also be useful to minimize the risk of a violent incident.

Only one hearing can happen in a Parole Room at once. Placing more Visitor Tables in the same room won't let you program more hearings at once. However, you can designate more Parole areas in the same room, each of them at least 5x5 and with their own Visitor Table, and they will be considered a Parole Room each, in order to run more hearings at the same time.

Since prisoners can be escorted by guards inside the Parole Room, in theory you can place the Parole behind a staff-only area (for example, a staff-only corridor), and a guard will escort the prisoner inside the Parole. However, this may lead to a bug where the prisoner will be escorted in and out the Parole Room while the hearing is on. The hearing will still proceed normally. For this to happen the staff-only area must be adjacent to the Parole, or the prisoner won't attend the hearing at all.
